She walked along the beach, the water just barely hitting her feet before flowing back with the waves. Kiori never really understood why Humans liked a bunch of sand and water so much, but over time she began to go there too. It was quiet, peaceful. Nothing like the rest of the world now.
A revolt was going on, and Kiori would rather not be in the middle, but since she was a branded thief, it was kind of hard to hide all the time. Who knew? Maybe someone was watching her right now...

"Damn, I'm so late!" He said in a growl of his voice, simply gasping for air as he ran, slowly falling down on the sand, dripping sweat. "That fight took forever damn it, I should have left earlier but they might have tried to follow me, I don't need public surfacing..." He said to himself quietly.
He then slowly arose from the sand beginning to run once more, although he had already ran two miles towards the beach, only a few blocks left, towards the bakery. He began running once more, little did he know, someone would see within his aura, a brilliant, but erratic light.

Dark eyes watched with great interest from her position on the railing of the Boardwalk, not really seeing, but feeling. Aura's were so much easier to find than by any other type of description, once you knew who you were looking for.
But she really wasn't looking for anyone.
Her pink tongue flicked out to wet her lips, watching the late night joggers and the seagulls float around on the night breeze. Oh poor souls, didn't they know demons were about? Someone could get hurt. Lei laughed to herself at this, then stood from her crouch. Long straight hair caught in the breeze, whipping it behind her like a banner. Most people would wonder why she was dressed so oddly for the beach, others would just look away.

She turned quickly when she felt an aura nearing her, quicker and faster still. Then, her senses now more alert, she felt another. Two strong aura's surrounded her, making her feel cramped. "What the hell...?" she asked herself, nearly being pushed back by the running aura she felt earlier. Who would be out here with such a strong aura? What could they want? It couldn't be someone from the Makai, could it?
No, she shook her head. It couldn't be. The aura that had passed her was too distressed, the other...too calm.

As he slowly passed by he then stopped with the sensation of strength within his body, he only looked back with a sigh. "Hm, whats this strange feeling?" He said blinking twice as he also felt two auras he blinked twice and sighed. "Does it really matter, I have to go." He said towards himself as he ran forth once more.

Lei smirked, eyes cold as she assessed the two auras. They were about the same as her's in the form she held now. Pity, that most likely meant that someone in spirit world knew about their existance. B ranks jsut didn't waltz through the portals like so. The Rouge Princess shook her head, and jumped off of the boadwalk onto the beack below.
The Woman landed with little trouble, the sand squishing between her toes. Hm, what to do on this fine night? Kill some humans? Terroize these two demons? Oh the latter would be so much fun, but they most likely wouldn't like the little joke at all, that she was certian.
Lei didn't care.
Her aura spiked, and dark eyes sought out the two demons. She was becoming a becon signal of Spirit Energy. "Come and play with me~" She sang under her breath, half laughing. She would definatly be attracting some attention....

Hisashi slowly opened his eyes and thought "Three auras, good thing I hid mine, I don't want to go through any unnecessary trouble. But there's something different in one of them, even though the power is strong it hasn't developed, maybe a low class demon or a ... human?"

It was late a night, usually later that Karu stayed up, as himself anyway. Unknown to him, he often wandered the streets as the demon Artaeus, seeking blood and flesh. Tonight was different however. Karu had yet to fall asleep in his bed when he noticed he couldn't sleep. It was like there was an ambient energy in the air tonight that kept him awake, and it seemed to come from the beach. It would make sense though, to him anyway. The water always had a kind of pull over him, so perhaps that was it?
Listening to an MP3 player, Karu wandered the beach with his shoes off, his feet just in water as the waves came in on the sands. He walked, almost subconsciously, to the source of his insomnia, the source of the energies that kept him awake. What he would find there he had no idea. Deep down however... Artaeus may.
His aura was weak and barely noticeable in his human form. He was still innocent. Anyone that would notice him would see very little more than a spiritually aware human, unless of course they had a means of looking deeper...

The pink haired golden eye ghost girl rolled her eyes while following the half demon to the beach. She had sensed the energy at the beach and raised an eyebrow being confused but also sorting threw the energy to find out what everything and was. She muttered "demons and a human? This will be fun." She smirked slightly while she hovered in the air and while watching to make sure the person she was following wouldn't do anything, plus she was also wanting to know about the people in on the beach. She was just glad that none of them could see or hear her at the moment and she was hiding her energy to keep from being found out.
Her eyes moved over the people having floated over to where the others where and rolled her eyes seeing who it was. She just knew Koenma was gonna love this bit of info if she decided to tell him. She was humming softly to herself while watching from the air just to see what was happening and maybe get a little fun for herself in too. She giggled softly and let her golden eyes travel along the people on the beach before the went back to Karu. She had been planning on trying to get more information about Artaeus like Koenma wanted but she didn't always listen to Koenma and often kept to herself half of the information that Koenma wanted her to get.

Hisashi was woken again, this time there was something different "Now this is interesting, another aura joins them, it may be a good idea to go check it out, it may have something to do with this war. I'll definitely go" He got up and went to his closet, once he got dressed with his combat clothes he took 2 of his swords, just in case the situation got out of hands.
He headed for the door and went out, slowly walking towards the beach, it wouldn't take long, 5 minutes tops if someone got in his way. He was ready to fight in case it was necessary but he had decided he would try to avoid conflict, he just didn't like getting up after only an hour of sleeping, specially not for a fight.

Kiori blinked and paused in her movements. More. There were more, and she was starting to get dizzy. "How many can there be?" she wondered, looking around her, but seeing nothing more than sand and water. Suddenly she looked up, feeling something hovering above the ground. She stared at empty air for a while before looking to the board walk in the distance, barely seeing anything. "I really should start training again," she muttered, keeping her senses sharp before shuffling in the sand again. This time, towards the other auras.

After walking a bit Hisashi noticed something, almost all of the auras were heading to the same place, a lone aura was there but most were getting close "An ambush? If they're planning to do that I should hurry, but just as a precaution I'll keep my aura hidden for a while more"
He started running this time, maybe something bad was gonna happen. Even if he didn't want to fight he couldn't leave someone to get attacked like that, if it was the case he wouldn't hesitate to fight, but if he was wrong he had another plan ready.

((Senice Hisashi can't keep a posting order, I might as well go. <_<))
Lei smiled when she sensed them coming. Most knew wat a large aura meant, that a human-killer was near. One who didn't care if their secret was revealed. On the contary, Lei was just bored. And it would be fun to see what kind of demons she scrounged up. Human lovers, or ones that just wanted a peice of the action?
The Mermaid hummed lightly, her own made up tune. She wasn't a siren, so it wouldn't be a beacon call, but it was still fun to do. One of the best and only good things about humans; they had pretty kick-ass music.

She came across a bridge, distantly, but a bridge. All she saw was the outline, a shadow. And from this point, she could see people, coming from each direction she could see.
She had been surprised when, as a child, she learned she could see aura colors. Now, she could see red, blue, deep purple, green and orange. The purple was standing still, on the bridge. The blue was barely faint, seemingly floating in the air. The others she couldn't exactly place. But as they became closer, she did too.
